Child Support Lien?

Hey George,

Just ran into something that I have not encountered before and need your expertise. I took your Title Research class and it was great, but I do not remember Child Support Lien's being addresses. It probably was, and I missed it :) Would a Child Support Lien (2 years old) on the default borrower survive a First Lien auction?

Scott,

My first question is, was the mortgage filed prior to the child support lien? If so, then the child support lien would fall off if you buy the 1st lien mortgage on the steps.

The lien would continue to follow the debtor, but will fall off against the property.
